To choose one word to work on for the year is a great clincher to all of those goals you want to attain. Although we often fail our resolutions, with choosing a word of the year, we can learn and grow from our mistakes. Finally, this is a personal resolution. This is YOUR word for the year. It has taken me almost the whole month of January to come up with a word, but after much deliberation, I finally chose one!
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Tell me in the comments, did you make a new year's resolution or did you go with the one word theme?
