My Testimony

A month after my sixth birthday, I asked Jesus to be my Savior. I knew that He had died for my sins and that He rose again. John 3:16, which states “
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”,  explained everything. God sent His Son to die for the sins of the world. As a result, we are able to accept that gift of salvation, so that we could spend eternity with Him. As a child, it was very simple to understand. I thank the Lord for Christian parents who showed me the truth and the light of the Savior.

Lessons Learned
Through the years, God has showed me so many things and has taught me several life lessons.
I learned…

…that there’s a difference between standing up for my beliefs and being obnoxious and judgmental.
Matthew 7:1- “Judge not, that ye be not judged.”

…that people will always let me down, but God will never let me down.
Hebrews 13:5b- “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

…that God knows the future, so don’t worry about it.
Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

….that God is faithful in all things. Even when things go terrible, joy always comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5b- “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

Life Verse
Psalm 27:14 ~ “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”
